Tension Cable System

Tension Cable System

Cable

The Cable Truss System is formed from 2 single-strand Stainless Steel pretension cables, tied to the building structure via turnbuckles and fork-ends required for the fixing and tensioning. Their connection to a tubular structure and the G-CLAD glass fittings provide a controlled degree of freedom to permit the glass and the cable truss to move independently, while maintaining lateral support to the façade under wind load. The integrity and stability of the glazed panels are ensured by cables, arranged horizontally and fixed back to the main structure.
