The Aspire Torch Tower is the landmark building of the Asian Games 2006 held in Doha. In a design by the architect Hadi Seenan, the tower is designed to resemble a large torch, which is achieved with Architectural Wire Mesh and Imagic Weave supplied by Haver & Boecker. The façade consists of 3452 single elements with a total area of approximately 30’000 square meters. LEDs in varying colours are installed within the mesh and make the Aspire Torch Tower a dynamic and colourful presence in the Doha nightscape.
